American Slim

Pen operation.Turn the top of the pen clockwise while holding the bottom and the ink refill will rotate out and lock.

Pen refill replacement. Pull the top of the pen off while holding the bottom barrel. Unscrew the old refill. Screw in the new refill and replace the top.

Pencil operation. Lead is advance by pushing and releasing the plunger on the top of the pencil.

Pencil lead replacement. Insert a new piece of 0.5 mm lead into the tip. Rotate the top counter clockwise until 1/8” of the lead extends through the tip. Press the exposed portion of the lead against a solid surface to “seat” the lead mechanism. Extra lead can be stored in the barrel of the pencil.

American Classic Twist

Pen operation. Turn the top of the pen clockwise or counter clockwise while holding the bottom and the ink refill will rotate out and lock. This is the double twist action of the pen.

Pen refill replacement. Turn the top of the pen counter clockwise past the point where the ink refill is extended and screw the top off the pen. Insert new refill and screw the top back on the pen.

Pencil operation. Turn the top of the pencil clockwise until the lead is extended.

Pencil lead replacement. Insert a new piece of lead into the tip. Rotate the top counter clockwise until 1/8” of the lead extends through the tip. Press the exposed portion of the lead against a solid surface to “seat” the lead mechanism. Extra lead can be stored in the barrel of the pencil.

Classic American Fountain/Rollerball Pen

Pen operation. The pen nib is exposed by unscrewing the pen cap. The pen cap can be posted on the back of the pen during use. Be sure to place the pen cap back over the pen nib to keep the ink from drying out.

Pen refill replacement. Remove the pen cap. Unscrew the pen nib from the pen barrel. Replace used ink cartridge with a new one making sure that it “clicks” into place. Replace the nib assembly on the lower barrel. If using the refillable ink cartridge, unscrew the pen nib from the pen barrel. Put the nib in an empty container and turn the black thumb wheel counter clockwise to empty the cartridge. Put the nib in a bottle of fresh ink and turn the black thumb wheel clockwise to fill the cartridge. Carefully wipe off the nib. Replace the nib assembly on the lower barrel.

European Style Fountain/Rollerball Pen

Perfect Fit Fountain Pen

Using the pen. To remove the cap, simply unscrew the top. When sliding the cap on the back of the pen, push it on gently with a slight twist. Pushing the cap on hard will cause it to come off.

Filling the pen with ink. Your pen has been supplied with an ink cartridge and an ink bladder (installed). To add ink to the bladder, remove the cap, unscrew the black receiver tube at the end of the pen. Place the black receiver tube and gold ring in a safe place. Submerge the nib of the pen in ink, twist the mechanism clockwise to draw ink into the bladder. Carefully wipe off the nib. Place the gold ring on the end of the pen and screw the black receiver tube back onto the bottom of the pen.

Wall Street

Pen operation. While holding the barrel of the pen, twist the black upper assembly left or right to advance the refill. To retract, twist in the opposite direction.

Pencil operation. While holding the bottom barrel of the pencil, twist the black upper assembly clockwise to advance the lead. Twist the upper barrel counter clockwise to release the mechanism's hold on the lead, allowing it to be pushed back or removed.

Gentlemen's Fountain Pen

Using the pen. To remove the cap, simply unscrew the top. This pen uses a course thread for a quick and smooth opening an closing. This course thread has 4 starting points. In order for the wood grain to line up, the pen must be closed using the same starting position as used during assembly.

Filling the pen with ink. Your pen has been supplied with an ink cartridge and an ink pump. To add ink to the pump, remove the cap and unscrew and remove the nib from the pen body. Submerge the nib of the pen in ink, twist the mechanism clockwise to draw ink into the pump. Carefully wipe off the nib. Screw the nib back into the pen body.

Jr. Gentlemen's Fountain Pen

Using the pen. To remove the cap, simply unscrew the top. This course thread action has 4 starting points. In order for the wood grain to line up, the pen must be closed using the same starting position as used during assembly.

The pen cap can be posted during writing by screwing onto the base of the pen.

Filling the pen with ink. Your pen has been supplied with an ink cartridge and an ink pump. To add ink to the pump, remove the cap. Unscrew and remove the nib from the pen body. Submerge the nib of the pen in ink, twist the mechanism clockwise to draw ink into the pump. Carefully wipe off the nib. Screw the nib back into the pen body.
