The wood of your pen or pencil has been sealed with a laquer based sealant. This provides execellent protection from mositure and oils. Several coats of wax have been applied to the wood to give it a high luster shine. Executive Accessories uses wax because it is an easy finish to reapply from time to time.

To bring back the orignal shine, use a soft cloth to buff up the wax as needed. Do not use any cleaning agents not intended for use on wood. Never use any kind of abrasive pad to clean your wood or Gold Plating. Many car waxes have fine abrasives in the formula to clean the surface and should not be used on your pen or pencil. Floor care and furniture care products are appropriate for use on our wood products. Paste wax is easy to apply and buffs to a high gloss shine. Please be sure to follow the manufactures instructions for the use of the product.

The gold plating may be cleaned with a damp soft cloth. Do not use any abrasives on the gold plating as the gold plating will be removed by the abrasive.
